I graduated from California State University Fullerton in 1989 with a degree in Economics. In 1990 I became a licensed termite inspector and started a termite company in Orange, California in 1991. I ran the company for over 6 years until 1997 when my partner and I decided to split up. It seemed I just couldn’t stay away from termites, so I decided to start another termite company and named it the simplest name I could think of: The Termite Guy. 

Since our inception in 1997 The Termite Guy and IRC Services has completed hundreds of thousands inspections in Southern California. I personally have earned a General Pest Control License, Termite Operator License, General Contractor License, Roofing License and a Certified Microbial Remediation Supervisor (CMRS) Certification. I have been committed to the development of the termite industry within the State of California and have been on several committees within the Structural Pest Control Board. I have maintained membership to the Pest Control Operators of California (PCOC) since 1992 and strictly adhere to the guidelines within the PCOC. I think I am a great “people person” and I really enjoy helping others. 

Here at The Termite Guy and IRC Services, we have maintained a constant growth over the past two decades. I attribute this to the fact that it was top priority for our company to create a great place to work that paid livable wages for the Southern California area. Doing this takes a lot of time. We do not hire easily, but when we do, our employees remain dedicated. About 85% of our staff has been with us for at least 7 years or more. In running a service company I realize that we live or die by the strength of our management staff, representatives and inspectors. They are the people behind the scenes who keep everything running smoothly. Our representatives and inspectors out in the field who perform our service calls have kept many of our customers returning year after year. Without them and all their hard work and dedication, The Termite Guy and IRC Services could not survive. 

All of The Termite Guy’s inspectors are seniors in their expertise. Because most of them have been in the industry for over 25 years they have a knowledge base of a general contractor with a knack for structural repair, contracting and termite eradication. Our field applicators and carpenters are proficient in all phases or carpentry, drywall, painting and masonry. I believe I have a crew of the best people for the job at hand, and they all do their jobs very, very well. It is this combination of skills and diverse knowledge that has made The Termite Guy and IRC Services a leader in the professional termite, pest control and general construction and roofing services. 

I have a daughter, a son and a spoiled little labradoodle pup named Kona. I currently reside in Laguna Beach, California and in my free time I enjoy surfing the world’s best breaks, coaching boys’ baseball and carting my kids to water polo matches.
